Lemossos
(Limassol) is the second largest city in the Republic and its main seaport.
It has been a major hub of activites since the 13th century BC. Many visitors
use Lemossos as their home base during their stay and take local tours to see
the rest of the islands attractions. The older part of the city is compact which
allows easy walking tours and shopping.
Resorts
cover a 12 km strip along the NE coastline of Lemossos, providing the full range
of activities and services visitors expect. The Lemossoss park and promenade
is close to nearby antiquities and is a pleasant section of various walking
tours of the area.
